Feedback: What Makes This Sketchnote Tick and a Live Session in January 2025!
Your feedback was so great that I've created a sketchnote of your ideas. Plus, I'll deconstruct sketchnotes LIVE in the January 2025 Lab Live session.
Last week, I posted my story of What Makes This Sketchnote Tick? YouTube video and asked for your feedback.
Lab Members gave me fantastic feedback, so I gathered the details and created a sketchnote with your excellent input:
In a nutshell:
You want to see more of these videos in a series.
There was very positive feedback about a live version.
The tracing paper deconstruction idea was a hit.
The video length was also good at 15 minutes.
Feelings were mixed on background music.
Suggestions included zooming in on details and having the creator of the sketchnote react to my deconstruction.
I’m excited to get such detailed, insightful feedback from you all. Thank you for reading the article, watching the video, and leaving great comments.
What Makes This Sketchnote Tick LIVE in January!
You made it clear to me that the January 2025 Monthly Live Lab (included with Paid Lab Member subscriptions) should be a LIVE version of What Makes This Sketchnote Tick you can participate in with me.
I’ll also offer $10 tickets with a session recording. Still, the best deal is to become an annual Paid Lab Member and get all 12 Live Lab sessions for $80:
What’s included in the “What Makes This Sketchnote Tick?” Live Lab session:
Live Zoom session where you can watch and ask questions at the end
Recorded replay of the session
My deconstruction of 2 sketchnotes
Aiming to have the sketchnoter on the call for their comments
Recording (minus Q&A) will be used to make YouTube videos for the series.
POLL: Choose the day that works best for you
I have three days in mind to hold the live session: two Fridays and one Saturday at the end of January. I’ve created a poll that will be live for a week so you can vote for your choice which will inform my decision for the final date:
Thanks again for the chance to share something fun in your inbox!
