I'm keynoting the 8th International Sketchnote Camp, in Birmingham, England, July 4-6, 2025!
Excited to keep the streak alive with a keynote for the sketchnoting community, this time in jolly old England! Read more for details.
I’m excited and honored to announce that I’ll be keynoting International Sketchnote Camp (ISC) happening this year in Birmingham, England.
ISC History
The event began in 2017 as a labor of love by four members of the sketchnoting community who wanted to bring an in-person event to Hamburg, Germany.
Ever since that first year, ISC has moved from city to city, each time being organized by locals: Hamburg, Germany; Lisbon, Portugal; Paris, France; Brussels, Belgium; Szczecin, Poland; Leiden, The Netherlands, San Antonio, Texas, and now in Birmingham, England. It’s pretty awesome!
I’ve been amazed that the event keeps going organically, with a heart for supporting the sketchnoting community. Seeing the event thrive has made me proud to be part of this welcoming and encouraging community.
ISC in Birmingham, England
This 8th edition of ISC is being organized by good friends Paddy Dhanda and Grant Wright, who have run The Visual Jam for many years and I met in person in Leiden. I am excited to see the event heading to England, and keeping the streak alive.
Join us from 4th–6th July 2025 at Aston Students' Union, Aston University, Birmingham for an unforgettable weekend of workshops, talks, and hands-on collaboration for just £300.

I’m sponsored by PKWARE
I’m principal user experience designer at PKWARE who are sponsoring my keynote this year, like they did for Leiden in 2023. Many thanks to PKWARE and my colleagues who make it possible for me to positively influence the sketchnote community.
I’ll be sure to share my experiences here at Sketchnote Lab.
Thanks again for the chance to share something fun in your inbox!
