Dispatch: Whiteboard Sketchnoting

WHITEBOARDS are everywhere in modern business environments. I've been fortunate to work as a UX designer in a space with wall-sized whiteboards and a leadership team and encourages experimentation with them.
Every Monday my team and I whiteboard features we're going to add to the web-based app we're building together. This 1 hour meeting is a highlight of our week that always draws our team together.
The photo above is from the church community group where I live-sketchnote Bible chapters on the whiteboard each Sunday. My classmates love seeing scripture come alive in real-time and it's great practice for me.
This week I challenge you sketchnote ideas a whiteboard. Play with some dry-erase markers and explore! Who knows where it might lead you.

My Interview with Ryder Carroll
Ryder Carroll of Bullet Journal invited me to answer a few questions for his Bullet Journal community. I had a great time going into nerdy sketchnote detail. You can read the interview at the Bullet Journal Blog: Sketchnotes.

Peachpit Author Chat on Storify
A few weeks ago, Peachpit Press had an Author Chat with me on Twitter. Now they've captured the discussion on a Storify page for your reading pleasure.
Private Sketchnote Workshops
Did you know I teach private sketchnote workshops at places like Ross Business School at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, mcgarrybowen in NYC and Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC? I'd love to teach sketchnoting to your team too. Interested? Let's talk.
